Who we are
This site is operated by DataSpark Tech LLC, doing business as Little India Kitchen. Each kitchen listed on the site is an independent business that receives the details of the orders placed with it.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, phone, email, delivery address and city, your order, notes, and how you chose to pay. Kitchens see this to fulfil your order.
- When you run a kitchen: your name, email, phone, kitchen details, DSHS registration and food handler card details, payment details you choose to show customers (such as Zelle or PayPal), and your fee payments.
- Automatically: basic technical data such as your browser type and pages visited, and items saved in your browser (your cart and form details) so you don't lose them.
How we use it
- To pass your order to the kitchen you ordered from, and to send order confirmations, status updates and receipts.
- To run kitchen accounts, bill platform fees, review kitchens before they go live, and keep the site secure and working.
- To send menu or offer emails only if you joined a kitchen's list; every such email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
- The kitchen you order from, which uses your details to cook, deliver and contact you about your order. Kitchens agree to use them only for that, and for menu emails if you agreed.
- Service providers who run the site for us: hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), email (Resend), payments for kitchen fees (PayPal), and address lookup for delivery routes (US Census geocoder). They process data only to provide their services.
- If required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users, kitchens or us.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order and account records as long as needed to provide the service and for tax, accounting and legal purposes, generally up to 7 years, and then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from menu emails with the link in any of them.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete your information at info@littleindiakitchen.com. We'll also forward deletion requests to the kitchens you ordered from.
Children
The site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
